THE FATHER WITHIN IS OUR SOURCE Reverend Liz Petipren
Do we really believe what we say we believe or do we just give lip service to these powerful ideas? The Universal promise is: “It is done unto you as you believe.”
It seems to me if we really believe what we say we believe, miracles should be a daily occurrence. Do we really believe that God is all there is and that there is only One Life, One Perfect Life and that we are a part of that One? If we can really believe this, down deep, we can be healed in this very moment of whatever we thought we had. In order for any one of us to be ill, that Perfect Life of God would have to be less than perfect and we know this cannot be.
Do we really believe that God is all Power and that we as God’s image and likeness, have complete access to the Power at all times? Do we really believe that the ever-available Power works in and through us to accomplish the wondrous works? Then we can say with Jesus, all power is given to me in heaven and earth, and know that as in heaven (within) so in earth (the outer experience), the miracle is accomplished. We don’t have to make it happen. It is done through us by the Almighty Power.
Do we really believe that God is omnipresent Love? Perfect unconditioned Love with us and within us, loving us, and loving through us? If we did, we would never be lonely, never feel unloved. There would be no wars or rumors of wars, no hate or contention between individuals or countries. We would all love each other in the bliss of Oneness.
Do we really believe that God is Abundance, infinite, endless Abundance, everywhere present available to all? If we did we would not have to grab at our good or fear that our good might be taken away from us for we would all be taken care of and have all that we needed right where we are.
Do we really believe that there is only One Mind, all-knowing, all-wise? If we did we would never be at a loss for ideas. We would look within for Guidance and trust that Guidance to lead us in paths of right action - in short we would trust the Spirit of Truth within us to teach us what we need to know. We would know what we needed to know the very instant that we needed to know it.
Imagine the peace of being one with God! We are heirs to the kingdom! We are whole and perfect and free right where we are! Our Father within is the Source!
Jesus’ message to us was – we too can go to the Source; that is, if we really believe that we do inherit the kingdom. It’s all there for us, even greater things than we can imagine.

Unity in the Pines recently mailed out postcards introducing our church to the community. The church office has received calls in response and new people are coming to the Sunday service. The uplifting consciousness of our congregation concerning growth and prosperity is allowing Unity in the Pines to move forward and expand. More mailings are planned for later in the fall.
Several board members will be out-of town in June. The semi-annual congregational meeting has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 10th. A reminder letter will be mailed out on July 1st. Please plan to attend.
The Seventh Day Adventist group that has been renting our facility will be moving out at the end of May, 2011.We have been using their sound equipment for the past four years. The board has recently purchased new equipment of our own. We have also been dependent on the monthly rent from this church. Your Board of Trustees, along with Rev. Liz, believes that by keeping the faith in God’s divine order this amount of money will be met with more to spare.
Brian Kirsch will be living in the space vacated by the Adventist group. He has been hired by your Board as the live in custodian and will also maintain our website.
Rev. Liz will be attending the Unity Peoples’ Convention for 8 days at Unity Village in June. She also hopes to introduce ordained Unity ministers to speak one Sunday each month this summer.
There is always a need for people to volunteer their time. You will find volunteer interest forms available in the book room. Right now we need someone to help out in the book room before and/ or after the Sunday service.

Please join us on Sunday June 19, 2011 for Sunday service at Unity in the Pines.
Rev. Tim Sodergren will be giving a heart-warming, inspirational Father’s Day message based on Charles Fillmore, co-founder of the Unity movement.

“LUNCH BUNCH” SUNDAY June 05, 2011
Join us for fun and fellowship on Sunday June the 5th at the “Carving Station” restaurant located at 6418 Lake Worth Road in Greenacres, on the SE corner, within the Marshalls shopping center.
Unity in the Pines will be celebrating Louise Hunsinger’s 91st Birthday which is on 06/05 and the “Carving Station” is one of her favorite places to have lunch.
Louise has been a very dedicated member of our Unity church for over 30 years. She started out when Unity in the Pines was once “Unity of Lake Worth” by helping to establish “The Women of Unity” group where she is still the active Treasurer. Louise has been on the Board of Trustee’s for both locations for 28 years. She is still the active Treasurer and bookkeeper today.
Louise has never driven and gets to the church office once or twice a week by public transportation. We love and honor Louise and look forward to celebrating her on Sunday June 05, 2011.

Meet Reed Daniel
Mr. Reed Daniel is the newest member to join the Unity in the Pines Music Team. Reed is a professional vocalist and vocal coach who holds a Performing Arts Degree in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Acting and Directing. Reed has studied acting, dancing, and voice: he studied voice for many years with some of the finest vocal coaches in the country. Reed has also taught voice and drama at the Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre and private voice lessons for many years receiving numerous awards and recognitions as an artist and producer. As a featured vocalist for two decades, Reed has performed for many audiences throughout the country and abroad. Additionally, Reed has shared the stage with artists such as Harry Belafonte, George Burns, Bob Hope, and Ella Fitzgerald to name a few. ________________________________________________________________________________________________

Join Janet Lifshin & Lauren Bressler for the June 16th Thursday evening gathering as they present Linda Manners, an eclectic, intuitive Doctor of Naturopathy, specializing in using the eyes to evaluate the conditions of the body (Iridology). “The eyes are not only the mirror to your soul they can also lead you down a path to assess your physical Well Being.” Linda will provide you with a wealth of information and show you some techniques which can be used to evaluate the imbalances in the body which help determine how to bring the body into balance so that it can innately heal itself.
